To capture the excitement of moving to a new ‘theatre’, I found this 1972 film theatre ad for the film Cabaret which was to be screened in the “beautiful remodelled Capri Theatre” with its “all new draperies and all new plush carpet”! How could you refuse the offer of new draperies and a plush carpet?
