In any movement you have people who are good at following the "tribe" to match what they're told is good for the cause instead of doing good because one understands the reason for doing it.

Aaron Good is an academic and they tend to be zombies IMHO. Same with doctors, economists, and so on.

In the comment thread I linked, they're like Lisa Simpson.... Aka nerds who are obsessive.

Later on in the thread, I mention how AI does similar things where it performs well but lacks the why.

That's what Aaron Good and many others do, including many who were right about COVID, etc.

Re: JFK, It seems to me that conspiracies can be announced, if in that curious "are they or aren't they admitting it?" fashion, after a tasteful time lag of roughly 60 years. So expect major revelations about 9/11 in 2060 and ditto about covid in 2080. Though this isn’t a hard and fast rule. After all the gunpowder plot is still holding up centuries later.
